ICLAS is pleased to announce the 2026 Scholarship Program for Veterinarians in Laboratory Animal Science and Medicine.

The deadline for applications is Friday, October 17, 2025.

This scholarship will cover up to two-thirds of the total costs, with a maximum of €7,000 per applicant, and may include tuition, travel, housing, and daily expenses while attending one of the designated programs.

Applicants must hold a recognized veterinary degree that allows them to practice in their country, live in a region without access to training in Laboratory Animal Science, and lack sufficient funds for tuition and travel.

They must also have been provisionally accepted into one of the designated programs listed in the application form. Applications must include two letters of recommendation written in English, one of which must come from the applicant’s employer confirming support for their participation, as well as a letter of provisional acceptance from the program coordinator.

The application will be reviewed by the ICLAS Education Committee following established evaluation criteria, and applicants will be informed of the results within 30 days of the closing date.
